I am not in the tropics. The north country beckoned for a long weekend, and a national holiday celebrating the birthday of a long dead queen. In a little town by the river, a piper pipes a newly minted bride and groom across the green sward in the shade of the stately maples.It took me back to another time, to something that I lost somewhere somehow along the way.
