Man in Space Video

50 years back Yuri Gargain created history and one of the most unachievable and the toughest things even till date, by venturing into a journey to Space. That even also marked a mad race to land in space by every country. And now to celebrate the 50 years of Gargain's maiden journey thanks to Christopher Riley, we now have a glimpse of what Gagarin saw from his spacecraft Vostok 1, through their work First Orbit.

While audio recordings of Gagarin exist, there were no video recordings. Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli,  recorded images of the Earth following a similar plot of Gagarin’s trip and these images have now been combined to the original audio recordings from Gagarin’s flight to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his flight, resulting in a stunning visual delight.

You can watch or download the youtube video here...

And here is a newspaper clipping when Gargain first landed in space and the US reaction thereafter:

Enjoy the space ride.
