Insomnia poem
Heart is racing
Thoughts are soaring
The silence in my ears is roaring
Sleep evades me
Nightmares thrive
Insomnia I can't survive
Hatred, envy,
Lies and glory
Victim of the same old story
Eyes are closed
Breathing deep
Yet still I cannot sleep.
