I am actually saddened to see Roger Clemens go on trial for perjury. I got to know the man when I caddied for him at the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament. Before meeting him, I had heard the stories of his abrasiveness. Yet after spending two days with him, I found him to be an engaging, friendly human being. I mentioned that I actually saw him pitch when he was with the Blue Jays. He spoke fondly of his Toronto days.I wish him well in his current troubles.
