Web Farming

For those still not initiated to the game here is the link: http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm. Just that you need a Facebook account to play this popular game.

23rd March 2011: After its June 2009 launch Zynga added a major update to its flagship game Farmville by introducing a second farm concept within the game. The second farm has been featured as English Countryside, which offers a complete new way of farming compared to its original version as suggested by Zynga.

Players are also loving this feature with a majority of the players who are already fatigued with the current one looking for new possibilities. All in all it contains lots of new crops, items, and features to keep the gamer engaged.

Players above Level 20 in the current game can travel to the English Countryside after completing a few basic tasks. It will also require 35 neighbours helping you to get out there. Another exciting feature to lookout for here is the newly introduced Sheep Pen with breeding features which was not there till date but was high on the wishlist of farmville maniacs.

Japan Relief Mission - 11th March 2011:

Zynga launched a Japan Earth Relief Campaign through farmville and its other games for providing aid to the disaster hit country. As part of the program the farmville players can help in donation by purchasing the specially introduced Daikon Crop for the purpose. Contributors get one week of permit to grow this 6 hour crop and does not wither along with a gift of a special flag for decoration. You can also contribute directly here.
