What the Dog Saw is a collection of his writings for The New Yorker Magazine. There is no central theme, other than the writing output of Malcolm Gladwell. It is a way of furthering his franchise and cashing in. The title "What the Dog Saw" comes from the story about Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer.
I read this book and it was a page-turner. I enjoyed every single article in the book. The only criticism, is that a couple of his articles were on his website, and I had already read them. However the book is completely worthwhile and extremely enjoyable.
